The non-refundable application fee is $25.00 and qualifies you to submit 1 song for review with Urban Soul Radio Producers.

There are a few guidelines that you need to check out to ensure that your music gets played on the station.

Urban Soul Radio Music Submission Guidelines

Here are some guidelines to help make sure that your music gets played on our station.

Submitted music must be your own original work, meaning you and/or your band wrote the song.

For music submitted to be played on URBAN SOUL RADIO/TV, Lyrics should have NO profanity. Period. This is still commercial radio, sorry. We may even have to request a lyric sheet of the song you want us to play prior to us playing it on the air.

Production value of your music is important –don't settle for a janky mix! One of the biggest reasons that we are unable to play some of the music that people submit is because of a rushed mix, levels are all over the place, etc. Be sure to send us your best! Your music should be of the same kind of clarity as other songs you hear on the radio.

URBAN SOUL RADIO/TV is truly here to get your music heard and to help independent artists like you get radio play. We are "The Station That Treats Indies, Just Like…The Majors!!! Your music may be played in other markets and on other radio stations besides a station. Your music may also be played as a podcast, URBAN SOUL TV, or on URBAN SOUL RADIO station's websites which enables your music to be heard around the world!

We allow you to sell your music on UrbanSoulRadio.fm, and share the revenue 50/50.

Before we can distribute your music on our website, we have to ensure that the music you are selling is in fact, original music, so we require an interview and the signing of an Online Distribution agreement.

Indie Given Monday is our live radio program that features the hottest new USR Artists to our global fan base, and gives you the opportunity to go in depth about your passions, dreams, and inspirations in the music industry. Each week, 2 new artists are invited to be featured on the show and advertised across all media.

USR Artists that have developed a fan base, continued to perfect their crafts, and have been successfully in rotation for over 30 days have the opportunity to be invited to perform at live USR events. An OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS, will be communicated to those invited to perform, and a final audition may be required before you are placed on a schedule.
